Israel vs. bunch of idiots

This is NOT Israel vs. Palestine. This is Israel vs. bunch of idiots!

Don’t think that I’m against Palestinians. I know an Ex-Patriot-Palestinian quite well and I call him a friend. He studied in Poland after getting injured in Palestine – he says he has a photo with Arafat, but I don’t believe him. Arabs can sell your own grandmother to you – He lived in the house of my parents in law for half a year here in Germany, nice guy, really. He did that because he borrowed some money in Poland and they were chasing him. In the end he lied to us about a new job and went back to Poland. Poor but really a fine person.

So what’s wrong with Hamas? This time I think they went too far. Shooting rockets at Israel all the time is NOT ok. Hamas are like the people around Barabbas (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barabbas) in the bible. A bunch of idiots fighting for freedom like the Sicarii (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sicarii). Pope Benedict said that in these days everyones thoughts are in the holy land. Yes, that’s true and maybe now everyone will understand. Israelis came from Egypt, took the land just like Romans did. Today, over 2000 years later we have an occupation. It doesn’t really matter who is to blame IMHO. More important is how to stop all this now. What was the REAL solution back then, 2000 years ago? What have people done 2000 years ago to cope with it? It was love & peace. Christianity FTW! I never thought I’m going to say that. LOL 😀

Russia Today – a News Network that I really like because they show an alternative point of view – CNN/Aljazeera are full of bullshit propaganda – Russia Today tried to find out who profits from the crysis in Israel – just watch!

Phenom II 920 Overclocked on ASRock @ 4GHz

For me the moment of getting a new Mainboard/RAM + CPU is coming closer. The ASRock AOD790GX128M looks very interesting. It’s also cheaper than the Gigabyte 790GX GA-MA790GP-DS4H. Seems that over clocking is possible as well by tweaking the voltage of the 920 Phenom II. This guy managed it to run it @4GHz.

Autostarting Fraps

I’m autostarting Fraps (a screen capturing tool – http://www.fraps.com/) recently and this is what comes out:

I can’t resist 😀 – I’m recording videos in Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (More info: http://www.ghostrecon.net/)

TOP 5 Christmas songs

1. Last Christmas – Wham!

2. All I Want For Christmas Is You – Mariah Carey

3. Driving Home For Christmas – Chris Rea

4. Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town – Frank Sinatra

5. Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas Frank Sinatra

… my personal favorites. Ah yea, as long as YouTube distributes music that way they will kill any other music website. It seems they have enough money for lawyers and settlements with music companies. Amazing.

I love Christmas

It’s not Christmas eve yet – but we got our Christmas-Gift from GRANDMA-CLAUS 😀 A great LG 32″ LCD-TV. What a surprise! We didn’t expect that at all! Great! I love Christmas! THANKS GRANDMA! (I guess she won’t read that – but that doesn’t matter). 🙂

ATI Stream & Nvidia CUDA

There are many great things that can make your PC faster… but wait. There is a second powerful processor in your machine already that you might not be aware of. It’s the GPU of your graphics card. ATI & Nvidia are going the right way. There are so many things the GPU can do. I’m encoding quite a lot of videos lately. Just check the chart above. Lower is better and notice the price of the AMD platform. This is what I call vaule. Physics or Artificial Intelligence in games – why do they have to use one of the cores of a Multi-Core-CPU? The GPU can provide the rendering power for that.

More Information:

Q: Why are reviewers seeing so little GPU processing during transcoding?
A: The ATI Video Converter uses the GPU for only a portion of the video encoding. Specifically, the GPU currently offloads only the motion estimation portion of the encoding pipeline which is the most compute intensive part of the encoder. The GPU is particularly well-suited for this task. Given that a fixed workload is being offloaded to the GPU the load on the GPU may be relatively low or high based on the specific model of GPU.

Seems that ATI’s Stream got a little bit in bad light becasue it’s using only little GPU processing during transcoding but I guess that problems will be solved soon:
